ClimateWise Campaign – Building Everyday Climate Awareness

ClimateWise is Opal Life Initiative’s flagship climate sensitization campaign, launched in early 2025 to respond to the urgent need for consistent, community-driven climate education. It is designed to meet people where they are — in schools, marketplaces, neighborhoods, and community forums — turning climate awareness into a practical, everyday conversation.

What We Do – Practical Climate Education

Each month, ClimateWise delivers engaging, age-appropriate sessions that connect scientific understanding with real-world action. We focus on accessible knowledge that communities can immediately relate to and use:

• Understanding Climate Change: Breaking down key concepts in simple, relatable ways
• Plastic Pollution Awareness: Teaching about the dangers of waste and the benefits of sustainable alternatives
• Sustainable Transport & Energy: Highlighting green mobility options, solar energy, and clean cooking methods
• Tree Planting & Conservation: Encouraging local action to protect and restore ecosystems
• Disaster Preparedness: Equipping communities with knowledge to respond to floods, droughts, and other climate risks
